    Sorry, but: Sony made this video, and uses it as official promotion for their products. And this is the point I refer to here, not individual players’ state, or parents neglecting their responsibilities. It is Sony’s responsibility what they show here, and as GOD OF WAR is restrited for minors, they cannot use footage that raises the impression they as the manufacturers / distributors approve of kids that age playing this game. How about a 12 year old in a vodka commercial?

    @Truedantalion alright dude but kids still buy it… ya the game is M for Mature but there are alot of Kids that still buy this game and not alot of adults get the PSP. plus 12 year olds in a vodka commercial is alittle extreme. Its a video game

    Roxie Richter, death by orgasm? I am liking these changes.

  • Truedantalion July 26, 2010 at 11:43 am

    @TrOPiCaLCLiPzx
    Yes, kids buy these games, by adults buying them for them (parents, relatives, friends), or by the retailer handling the age restrictions lax, because every sold game means dearly needed profit (the retail margins in the game business are small, I know that very well). But I seriously only claim Sony’s responsibilty here, no one else’s. The example I chose refers only for the fact that it’s just as illegal for kids to drink, so they should not be in such a commercial, either.

I do not refer to individual players’ state, or parents neglecting their responsibility.for their kids. It is *Sony’s* responsibility what they show here.You also can’t have a 12 year old in a vodka promo vid. And as GOD OF WAR is restricted for minors, they cannot use footage that raises the impression they as the manufacturers / distributors approve of kids that age playing this game.
